The sounds of children singing can get anyone in the holiday mood. On Friday, December 2, 2016, Hopewell students shared their gift of song in the annual Winter Program.
Hopewell Harmony, the 4th/5th Grade Choir, opened the program with a set of songs that took us around the world. Then the kindergartners took over reminding us that “December is Cold” with songs Snowpants and Where are my Mittens? The 6th grade wowed the audience with a song on their recorders. 2nd graders sang of Hannukah and in Spanish! The 3rd grade class performed songs about the food of the season, as the 6th grade band played songs about sleighs. The 4th grade focused on family, and the 1st grade reminded us presents are fun, too! The 5th grade dazzled the audience with a lighted performance. The program ended with an all-sing of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
Special thanks to the hard work of Music teachers Ms. Casey and Mrs. Isaacson, as well as student teacher Ms. Thompson and accompanist, Mrs. Letendre.
