Junior Achievement Teaches Real World Skills

Mrs. Weinscheck’s 4th period Marketing class is getting a special treat.  Every Friday, Lance Hoyer with U.S. Bank, a Junior Achievement volunteer, comes in to teach them about business.  This semester, students will be running their own company, selling a high-tech communication device.  Students will work in teams to determine price, marketing, distribution, research and development, and much more.  The Junior Achievement curriculum teaches the students about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and workplace readiness.
