Bridgeview

Wednesday, May 3, is an early dismissal day!

Bridgeview Says Thank You:  The staff and students at Bridgeview would like to express our thanks to the PTA and the Bridgeview Community for the success of the Walkathon today! Despite the fact that the weather wasn’t our best friend, the money raised during the week will add soft seating and an art wall to our library.  We are very grateful for your support!!

PTA Pulse:  Click here to learn about the next PTA meeting, the Book Fair and Grandparents/VIP Day.

Attention 5th grade parents!  The 2017-2018 6th grade band is about to be formed!  On Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. in the PV High School Band Room, there will be a general information meeting to explain our beginning band program. Click here for more information about beginning band.

Grandparents and Special Guests, Friday, May 5:  Once again, the staff and students are very excited to welcome you to the building on Friday, May 5th from 1:00-3:00.  Due to the lunch schedule, we would ask that you not arrive before the designated time, and when you do, plan to enter through Door C.  We will have student hosts and hostesses to help you find your students’ classrooms.  Parking, on a first-come, first serve basis, will be available in the school parking lots and behind the building as well as along the streets near the building.  (Also, be advised you may get hit up for a new book or two with the book sale in the cafeteria after the event). Parents are asked to notify their child’s teacher in writing if their child(ren) will be leaving with their grandparent or special guest at the end of the afternoon.

Parking Request, Friday, May 12:  The First Presbyterian Church of LeClaire has been a great partner to Bridgeview School this past year (and many years before, I might add).  Many times they have allowed us to informally and unofficially use their parking lot and turn around area as a “pick-up and drop-off zone” for Bridgeview parents.  However, due to a special event at the church on Friday, May 12, they have asked that parents and school personnel please not park in the church parking lot or turn around area during the pick-up time after schoolThank you in advance for your awareness of and compliance with this request.
