Cody

Announcements

Cody Health Office Donations:  Please consider donating stretchy waist pants/leggings that your child has outgrown to the Cody Health Office. They are in need of boys and girls bottoms to loan our students who have spills, accidents or playground mishaps during the school day. Students could use sizes 5-12. Thank you for keeping this in mind and for your donations!

A.M. Drop-off and Parking:

  • Drop-off: If you are dropping your child off to school and do not intend to park, please form a single file line along the curb of the stacking lane.  As you approach the light pole just past the dumpster corral, you should begin to form two lanes.  Lane 1 drops on the sidewalk immediately adjacent to the building.  Lane one vehicles should begin having their children exit the car (sidewalk side door only!) just past the access drive to the playground.  At no time should you drop past the crosswalk near the median for lane 1. Lane 2 drops on the concrete median (median side door only) and the children walk to the crosswalk adjacent to the entry door.  Please have your children ready to unload as you approach the drop areas.  After you have dropped your child, lane 1 and lane 2 need to work together to allow the car adjacent to you to exit either left or right on to Territorial Rd.
  • Parking:  if you are parking to enter the school please note the one way entry immediately before the start of the stacking lanes.  After parking, please use the crosswalk that is just past the storage shed. Vehicles in the stacking lanes should not block the crossing lane!  In order to leave, please merge into stacking lane 2 and follow the exit instructions from above.

Athletic Boosters Clothing Sale: The Athletic Boosters will be having their clothing sale this Saturday, November 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Please enter through the pool lobby door N9 (front of high school) as the store is near the gym.  Be sure to stop by and stock up on Spartan gear!  Questions please contact Kris at kristinhwehrman@gmail.com or 563-949-7122 (call/text).
