Pleasant View

Fall Conferences Online Scheduling:  Pleasant View Elementary will use the PTCFast online scheduling system for our conferences. We will hold set conference nights on Tuesday, November 7th from 3:30-5:30 and Thursday, November 9th from 3:30-8:00.  In addition, teachers will provide a range of additional conference times between November 6th and 17th. We recognize that families have busy schedules, and believe a system of this nature opens up more opportunities for parents. Click here for more information and to schedule conferences with your teacher!

Lunch Visits FAQ:  Each day we have many parents and special visitors joining their child or children at Pleasant View for lunch. This is absolutely an ok thing to do at Pleasant View. All visitors need to check-in with the office staff and receive a visitor’s badge. Anyone who joins their child for lunch needs to be aware of our cafeteria procedures for visitors. Click here for some Frequently Asked Questions that outline our procedures for visitors eating lunch at Pleasant View.

Thank you for taking part in the PTA survey.  The results of the survey and a new Frequently Asked Questions document can be found on the PTA website.

PTA Meetings Rescheduled:  Some of the PTA meeting times have changed.  Please review the new schedule.

Gift Card Fundraiser: The Riverdale Heights PTA participates in scrip – a gift card program.  You can easily raise money for our school simply by shopping!  All profits from gift card sales will go to the PTA to be used for our school, students, and teachers.  Here is how it works.  You purchase the gift card at face value and our school earns a percent from each retailer. These gift cards are good and never expire!  You can give them as gifts or use them yourself instead of paying with cash or credit cards.  Please check out the PTA website to see the list of retailers and to print out an order form.  For the first round, order forms and payment are due to the office by noon Monday (Oct 16) and will be available on Thursday (Oct 19).  Check out the PTA website for all future order dates.
