Trap Shooting Club

CLUB DESCRIPTION:
This team is a program organized and supported through the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) through which gun clubs, shooting facilities and other organizations provide youth with opportunities to participate in organized, adult supervised, trap shooting activities leading to the Olympic styles of Bunker Trap and International Skeet. The goal of the program is to give students the opportunity to represent their school in the lifelong sport of shooting that is based on safety and responsibility.

Yo-Yo Club

This is a student lead club that works with all different levels of Yo-Yo’ers .  Students will have different activities and sessions for all different types of tricks/skills.  Bring the Yo-Yo & the fun!!

Student Council

CLUB DESCRIPTION:

A major responsibility of Student Council is to represent the student body’s viewpoints to the administration and promote school spirit and participation. The council is responsible for many of the activities within the school, as well as service projects benefiting the PV community and the community at large.  Any student is welcome to apply to join the student council at the beginning of each year.

Robotics

CLUB DESCRIPTION:

  • In FLL (FIRST Lego League) season, the students will build, test, and program an autonomous robot to solve a set of missions using the EV3 Robot and Legos, as well as research, develop, and share their innovative solutions to real-world problems.
  • Apply real-world math and science concepts
  • Learn critical thinking, team-building, and presentation skills
  • Participate in tournaments and celebrations
  • Understand and practice Gracious Professionalism

Partners With A Purpose

Partners with a Purpose is an inclusive club which welcomes and encourages the participation of all students, regardless of grade, ability or interest, to come together as a group of friends. Our club plans special charitable and educational projects both in and outside of the school building to help make our community a better place. Musical

CLUB DESCRIPTION:
Auditions for the spring musical happen in December every year. Rehearsals are every day after school from 3:15-4:45pm January until the first weekend of March, when we perform the show in our gym. Closer to the date of the show students may be asked to stay later. Students will learn basic stage directions and theatrical terms. They will also learn music and dances for the show. It’s a great way to be involved and make new friends! Please be sure to audition in December, as everyone who auditions makes the show!
