Pleasant View Students Spread Love this Holiday Season

Pleasant View has a wonderful history of caring for others in so many ways.  This year, Pleasant View’s Culture and Climate committee, along with the PTA, decided to once again partner with King’s Harvest in Davenport to help the homeless and less fortunate in the Quad Cities area.  Each grade collected different things, from travel size toothpaste, lotion, or soap, to hand warmers and socks, and many things in between. The students then took turns throughout one of their school days assembling “Socks of Love,” or care packages with one of each of the items inside.  After the final count was made, students put together 480 packs for those in need! PVCSD is so proud!

The Socks of Love will be handed out at King’s Harvest later in December and through the winter months.  Pleasant View wants to thank the families, kids, and staff for all the help provided to meet needs of people in our community, especially during this holiday season!
