Dale Owen “Be the Light” Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to honor and celebrate the long relationship between Ascentra and the Pleasant Valley Community School District. For years, Ascentra has sponsored the Booker Bear program to promote reading and literacy for our youngest students. Upon the sad and untimely death of their long time President and Pleasant Valley parent, Paul Lensmeyer, they endowed a scholarship to honor his memory and to advance his deep belief in the importance of education. Most recently, Ascentra has been the multi-year title sponsor or our Run with Carl.
