The Drish Family, John, Jan, Jessica, and Derek, moved to the Quad Cities in the fall of 1985, as John continued his career with Hy-Vee as the Bettendorf Hy-Vee Manager.  Both Drish children, Jessica and Derek, attended Pleasant Valley and were involved in a large variety of activities, including cheer, volleyball, choir, drama, wrestling, track, and golf.  The family wanted to create its own scholarships to give back to the school district and community that were continually supportive of their family for so many years. The family awards two scholarships one for an engineering major and one for a student Biological Sciences.
