Joshua D. Fullmer Memorial Scholarship
Josh Fullmer was a fun-loving young man, who thoroughly enjoyed school, even though it was not easy for him academically. He never wanted to miss a day of socializing with friends and joking with his teachers. Josh loved wrestling for Coach Duncan and working on cars in shop class. He was a young man of character who visited residents of a local nursing home after school just to give them some company. Josh was a Mississippi River enthusiast and an avid fisherman. As a devoted son, brother, and friend, Josh loved life and lived each day to the fullest. Unfortunately, Josh’s life was cut short as he died one week after his high school graduation from Pleasant Valley in 1989 due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
