Maggie Tinsman Arts Scholarship
Maggie Tinsman’s strong interest in the fine arts began with her involvement with drama in high school. This interest continued with her participation in Playcrafters and the Genesius Guild, both venues that help cultivate public understanding and appreciation for theater arts. Maggie also volunteers for the Quad City Symphony and the Figge Art Museum, two other organizations that engage and entertain the community through the arts. With this scholarship, it is Maggie’s hope to celebrate a Pleasant Valley student’s role in the fine arts and to help him/her realize that these activities add to one’s quality of life, not only as a student but spanning a lifetime.
