In the first few weeks of school, it takes time for our students to get to know each other and feel comfortable working together. Teachers all over the High School got to work with team building projects. In math classes, students collaborated to build the tallest tower with spaghetti, tape and marshmallows. In business classes, students competed in the "Not-So-Amazing Race: No Fear of Failure", where students worked in groups to complete tasks involving all of the "P"s - patience, perseverance, positivity, passion, practice, and putting themselves out there. They learned how failure breeds success! As one student put it after the race, "Failing doesn't make you a failure. It's what you do after you fail that really counts!
