We are pleased to announce the results of the Iowa Choral Directors Association Opus Honor Choir selection. This prestigious achievement showcases the talent of our vocal music students and their dedicated directors.
Any fifth through ninth-grade student enrolled in our school chorus was eligible to audition for the Opus Honor Choirs. These choirs are composed of students from across the state of Iowa and are set to perform at Iowa State University in November.
The OPUS Honor Choir Festival is an annual event sponsored by the Iowa Choral Directors Association, featuring four choirs:
- A 5th-6th grade mixed chorus
- A 7th-8th grade bass choir
- A 7th-8th grade treble choir
- A 9th-grade mixed ensemble
