We are proud to share the achievements of our student teams at the First LEGO League Regional Qualifier, held at the Putnam Museum on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Six teams from Pleasant Valley showcased their skills, with several teams earning awards and advancing to the state-level competition.
Award-Winning Teams and Achievements:
- Robotics Royals (comprising Cody, Forest Grove, and Hopewell school students) earned the Robot Design Award and qualified them for the upcoming State Competition.
- The Unicorn Society (Hopewell) qualified for the upcoming State Competition.
- Trash Pandas (Pleasant View) qualified for the upcoming State Competition.
- Brobots (Riverdale Heights) received the Innovation Project Award for their unique and forward-thinking presentation.
Additionally, The Coding Cobras and Artistic Adventurers, both Pleasant Valley Junior High (PVJH) teams, participated in the competition.
The teams advancing to the State Competition will compete at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, on January 27 and 28, 2024.
