Congratulations to the PVHS Class of 2024 members who received the Seal of Biliteracy awards! The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students who have attained proficiency in two or more languages, one of which is English, by high school graduation.
Iowa Seal of Biliteracy: We are proud to recognize 55 graduates who earned the Iowa Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, French, Tamil, and German! More information regarding the Iowa Seal of Biliteracy can be found here.
The Global Seal of Biliteracy: The Global Seal of Biliteracy is an international certification that recognizes students who are proficient in two or more languages. 22 Pleasant Valley students also earned the Global Seal of Biliteracy, which can be used for academic and employment purposes, and is available at three levels of certification. 2 graduates who have earned the Functional Fluency Global Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, and 2 students have earned the prestigious Working Fluency Global Seal of Biliteracy!
