Three Seniors Recognized as Commended Students in 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program

Victoria Rice, Prerna Vanga, and Reid Yoder

We are proud to announce that three seniors have been recognized as Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Congratulations to Victoria Rice, Prerna Vanga, and Reid Yoder for achieving this prestigious honor.

Commended Students are recognized for their exceptional academic promise, placing among the top 50,000 students nationwide who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). This recognition is based on high scores that reflect their outstanding potential for success in college and beyond.

Although Commended Students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, they are eligible for special scholarships sponsored by businesses and corporations. Each student will receive a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation in recognition of their academic achievements.

We are proud of Victoria, Prerna, and Reid for their hard work, and look forward to their continued success as they pursue their post-secondary educational goals!
