Last week, PVHS student Elijah Dillin took a big step toward his future career at the Student Built Homes Signing Day! Elijah, along with students from local high schools, is joining the Student Built Homes Program, where students wear hard hats, pick up tools, and literally build a house from the ground up!
Under the guidance of experienced instructors and industry professionals, these students transform blueprints into reality—gaining hands-on experience that goes far beyond the classroom.
Each day, they’ll be on-site, learning the ins and outs of construction, teamwork, and problem-solving until the house is completed in May.
We can’t wait to see all that Elijah and his fellow students will accomplish!
