Preschool and T2K Inquiries: Open Now!
Our PV Preschool and Transition to Kindergarten (T2K) programs use a screening process for student placement.
PV Preschool accepts students who will be 4 by September 15, 2025. Students who are 3, and have an IEP may also enroll in the program. All interested students are screened in May for placement for the 2025-26 school year. To be placed on the screening list, please complete a Preschool Inquiry Form.
If you have a young five-year-old (born between June 1 and September 15) and would like to apply for our Transitional Kindergarten program, please complete the kindergarten online registration (detailed below) and fill out a T2K inquiry form. Screenings for this program will occur in May. More information about our T2K program can be found here.
Kindergarten Student Registration: Opens February 3, 2025

Kindergarten students will complete a screening process during the first days of the 2025-26 school year to determine classroom placements. More information will be sent to registered kindergarten students in May.

New Student Registration: Opens April 1, 2025
Students who will be moving into the Pleasant Valley Schools for the 2025-26 school year may complete online registration beginning on April 1, 2025. Proof of residency will be required to complete registration. Existing Student Registration: May 1-15, 2025
If your student will be returning to Pleasant Valley Schools for the 2025-26 school year, Online Registration is required to confirm their attendance and verify your family’s information. Please complete your Online Registration by May 15, 2025 in your students Parent Portal Account:
To complete your Online Registration:
- Log into your Parent Portal Account here. (If you do not have an account or cannot retrieve your password, please call our Administration Center at 563-332-5550.)
- Please note that Online Registration must be accessed from the Portal website link above; it is not supported through the Portal Mobile App on your phone.
- Once logged in, click the link for “More” on the left and then select “Online Registration”.
- Select the Start button next to “25-26 Existing Student Registration”.
- Follow the prompts and be sure to click the “Submit” button when complete.
- No payments for 2025-256 fees will be accepted until July 1. Another communication will go out when the payment window opens.
Please complete your Online Registration by May 15, 2025 to confirm your student’s return to Pleasant Valley.
Students Leaving the District:
If your student will NOT be returning to Pleasant Valley Schools for the 2025-26 school year, please notify your school office.
