Sarah Foad, 5th grader at Cody Elementary, earned an Award of Merit for her Visual Arts entry "I Will Change the World By.... Starting With the Person in the Mirror."
The awards honor creative interpretations of the theme “I Will Change the World By…” in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts as well as a special artist division. Around 200 students across the country placed in the national competition.
