A special visit from an author with out-of-this-world stories energized Mrs. Hornick’s 6th grade students at Hopewell Elementary. Melissa Savage held a zoom meeting with online learners, as well as hybrid learners, who had read her book Lemons. The book is about a girl named Lemonade and her experiences with Big Foot! Students asked direct questions about Ms. Savage’s process as an author – what it takes to publish a book and where she gets her ideas.
