Kindness Counts! Mrs. Sanders's class at Pleasant View is leading the pack! At the school, classes were asked to reach a book about kindness and being kind to others. Her students then handed out snowballs to classes that wanted to participate. On the snowballs, teachers wrote the name of each student on the top. They then passed them out randomly, and students had to think of something kind to write about the name they got. Mrs. Sanders's class collected the snowballs and made a large hallway display!
This project incorporated socio-emotional learning and also tied into the monthly thematic unit of "Winter" and "Snow Animals". It has been amazing to see the overflow of kind words at Pleasant View!
