A connection on Twitter opened up the world for Mrs. Bradley’s kindergarten class. The two classes - one from Riverdale Heights and one from Canada - met up over a video chat and played a game that reinforced their thinking skills. Each class chose a capital letter of the alphabet to be their mystery letter. The other class asked questions to try to figure out what the letter: Questions like -- Is it in the first 1/2 of the alphabet? Does it have 2 or more straight lines? Is it a vowel? Does it make the /r/ sound? We had the alphabet written on chart paper and would cross off the letters we would eliminate. You can see from these pictures how excited the kids were about this connection. Good work!
